A Quick Look at the Redliro Under Desk Treadmill
Redliro, founded in 2018, specializes in lightweight treadmills designed for home use. They offer a variety of folding treadmills and walking pads designed to fit into any home.
The Redliro 2-in-1 under-desk treadmill is light enough to move around whenever you need to and can be stored up against the wall to save space. It also includes foldable handrails that you can use for support if you’re moving it out of the office for a workout, or tuck away if it’s going under a standing desk.
This treadmill is meant for walking and has a weight capacity of 220 pounds, along with no incline settings. This is pretty normal with affordable treadmills, but that does mean it’s not a great choice if you plan on doing intense cardio workouts.

However, for light walking throughout the day, which is what an under-desk treadmill will primarily be used for, this is a solid choice at an affordable price.

Using the Redliro Under Desk Treadmill
If you’re looking for simplicity and ease of use, it’s hard to beat the Redliro under-desk treadmill. There’s no assembly required, you just unbox it and plug it in, and you’re ready to go. There’s a built-in display, and the treadmill is operated with a small wireless remote that you can leave on your desk.
Regarding durability, Ashley said it felt like what you’d expect from a cheaper treadmill, and wouldn’t be great for frequent running. However, that’s not the intended use of an under-desk treadmill anyway, and you’re protected by a one-year warranty.
With built-in transportation wheels, moving the treadmill is easy, and you can roll it away for storage when you’re not using it at your desk.
When considering the overall experience, Ashley said, “I would recommend it for those looking for an under-desk treadmill for walking. I also like that it has an adjustable handrail so you can comfortably use it in other places around the house. I don’t know how long this would last with frequent use, but if you take good care of it you should be OK.”

Footprint and Portability
The Redliro is a compact treadmill designed for small spaces and is very easy to move around between uses, and scored a 5 out of 5 rating for footprint and portability.
With dimensions of only 52 inches by 25 inches by 42 inches, Ashley said that the treadmill is easy to move around with folding handrails and wheels on the bottom, and it even moves well on carpet surfaces. If you need to put it away, it’s light enough to easily fold and prop up against a wall. With a folded height of only 5.5 inches, it can also be stored under furniture like a couch or bed.
Delivery and Setup
Setting up the Redliro under-desk treadmill couldn’t be easier, as it arrives fully assembled and ready to go, earning it a 5 out of 5 rating in this category. Ashley said that all she had to do was plug it in and it was ready to go, which is exactly what we want to see in a lightweight, portable treadmill.
Durability
Considering this treadmill is priced very affordably, the durability isn’t amazing, but Ashley said it’s about what you’d expect for the price point. The treadmill has a maximum user weight of only 220 pounds, which means that it’s best for smaller users.
RELATED: Best Treadmill for Heavy People
It comes with a small bottle of treadmill lubricant that’s meant to be used every 30 days to keep things running smoothly, so proper care should extend the lifespan of this treadmill. For durability, this treadmill earns a 3.5 out of 5 rating.
Customizations, Adjustability, and Ergonomics
The Redliro under-desk treadmill earns a 3.5 out of 5 for customizations, and 3 out of 5 for adjustability.
The treadmill is powered by a 2.25 horsepower motor, and the speed ranges from 0.5 to 7.5 mph which is adjustable in 0.1 mph increments. You can also choose from 12 different workout programs, or use the countdown mode, which allows you to set a target distance, time, or calorie burn, and the treadmill counts down as you progress.
However, the only adjustable part is the ability to move the handlebar up or down. There are no incline or decline settings.
Ashley said that it felt fine to use barefoot, but after a while, the belt would heat up, especially at higher speeds, so it may be more comfortable to use running shoes. She’s 5-foot-8 and felt it was comfortable to use even with a relatively small running belt, though actual running may be tough. For ergonomics, we score this a 3 out of 5.
Workout Experience
For the workout experience, this earns a 3 out of 5. The preset programs are a nice touch, and the countdown mode can keep you motivated as you work to reach your target for the workout.
While the shock-absorbing design is a nice feature, there’s no incline or decline, and this doesn’t feel sturdy enough for running or interval training. It’s marketed as a 2-in-1 treadmill that can be used for both walking and jogging, but Ashley didn’t feel this would last long with regular jogging.
Technology Benefits and Conveniences
When it comes to technology, Redliro takes a more minimalist approach. There’s a built-in LED display that can switch between displaying time, distance, steps, or calories burned, controlled by a remote.
And while the treadmill does contain 12 workout programs to choose from, it’s not designed to integrate with any other treadmill apps, giving it a technology score of 3 out of 5.
For convenience, the treadmill only earned a 2 out of 5 rating. There’s a media shelf and safety stop, but no water bottle holder. Ashley noted that while there is a slot in the handrail to store your phone, it didn’t feel like the most stable choice.
Value
For value, the Redliro under-desk treadmills earned a 4 out of 5 rating. The treadmill is listed for $479.99 on the Redliro website but is usually much cheaper on Amazon. While Amazon prices change, the price at the time of writing this was $269.99, and historical data shows that the price has fluctuated between $300 and $350 for the past year, with occasional sales and discounts.
This isn’t the sturdiest treadmill, but for an under-desk walking treadmill, this is a great value, especially if you catch it on sale.

Pros & Cons
Pros

Cons
- Max user weight of 220 lbs
- No obvious warranty
Bottom Line
The WalkingPad is another great option for people who want a way to walk while doing another activity.
Redliro isn’t the only manufacturer of portable, lightweight treadmills, so let’s compare it to another popular option, the WalkingPad Folding Treadmill.
The WalkingPad treadmill is a foldable treadmill that costs more but folds under the belt, while the Redliro only has folding handrails. The WalkingPad also has a slower maximum speed and no built-in display.
Choosing the best one ultimately comes down to your needs, especially since prices tend to fluctuate a bit on Amazon and the WalkingPad website, and you can often get the WalkingPad for under $400.
If you want a stronger motor and higher top speeds, I’d choose the Redliro, but if you value space and want something that folds completely, the WalkingPad folding treadmill is a better choice.

Customer Experience
Redliro offers a one-year warranty and 24-hour support, and you have 90 days to return the treadmill if you’re not satisfied. The Redliro website also has a live chat option, but there’s no email address or phone number listed, so you may only be able to use chat support if you need assistance.
Ordering and Assembling the Redliro Under Desk Treadmill
Ordering from Amazon is simple and easy, with free Prime shipping. Assembly is even easier, as you simply need to unbox the treadmill and plug it in. While the Redliro website does allow you to add products to a shopping cart, the website was unable to accept payments at the time of writing and links directly to the Redliro Amazon store for purchases.
Customer Reviews
Redliro’s website doesn’t allow you to leave reviews, so I turned to Amazon, where the treadmill has an average rating of 4.4 out of 5, with over 2,700 customer reviews.
Reviewers loved how lightweight and portable the treadmill is, and most agreed that it’s a perfect fit for walking during the day.
Final Verdict of Our Redliro Under Desk Treadmill Review
If you’re looking for a portable treadmill to fit more walking into your day, the Redliro under-desk treadmill is a great choice, especially for the price point on Amazon. It’s light enough to put away between uses, and while it’s meant to be used under your desk, the folding handrails allow you to set it up anywhere.
With a weight capacity of only 220 pounds, it’s meant for smaller users, and Ashley didn’t know how long it would last when she tested it. Still, it’s affordable and comes with a one-year warranty, and with proper care and maintenance, it will likely last even longer.

Redliro Under Desk Treadmill: FAQs
Is a desk treadmill worth it?
If you’re looking for a way to increase your daily step count and don’t have time to leave your office, a desk treadmill can be a great way to add more steps. You can set the speed however you want, allowing you to find an appropriate speed that won’t interfere with your work.
Can you use a regular treadmill under a desk?
While any type of treadmill can be used under a desk, you may need a very tall desk to fit over a regular treadmill. Not to mention, regular treadmills are often quite heavy, and difficult to move alone. Desk treadmills are meant to be lightweight, and easy to move out of the way if needed.
What is the downside of a treadmill desk?
While there are never downsides to exercise, some may find that it’s difficult to type and work while walking on a treadmill. If space is an issue, a treadmill can also take up too much room, as it’ll need to go somewhere if you’re not using it.
